My Favorite Christams Gift...

On Christmas morning, Wyatt surprised me with an amazing present - Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets! Wyatt and I have been to so many concerts together and seen so many wonderful things, but this was one of our favorites! Three hours of electric guitars, string orchestra, drums, wood-wind instruments, laser-lights, singing, spot-lights, pyrotechnics, clapping, laughing, crying...and everything in between! It was an incredible concert! I would recommend it to everyone if ever the chance arises!

After the concert, Wyatt and I went to Aunt Veronica and Uncle Thomas' place for our last family function for Christmas. We had a great dinner and exchanged a few gifts but mostly, we watched little Lauren and Dylan's eyes light up at all the gifts they received! It was a great finish to a spectacular night and a wonderful Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Our Hill Country Christmas was complete with all the Byrd family...and all our additions!! One of our traditions is opening one present, which is always matching PJ's, and watching a Christmas movie...this year we watched Santa Clause 3! Gotta love Christmas traditions!

While in Burnet, Wyatt was able to hunt for doe. In the Hill Country, the deer are so plentiful it is dangerous - so Wyatt was able to kill four! Good for us...bad for bambi :)

Back in Needville on Christmas Eve, Wyatt and I attended our church for Christmas Eve Candle light service and then opened gifts with his family...here are a few of the fun shots!

Denise has great decorations!

After Christmas Eve with the in-laws, Wyatt and I were finally home and were blessed to wake up Christmas morning just the two of us! We had a great time just hanging out, drinking coffee, watching the Disney Parade and opening our simple presents...

Merry christmas!

Our simple life...and loving every minute!

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We are so blessed by your thoughts, prayers and cards. We hope everyone's holidays were happy, safe and full of memories!

Luke 2:9-12 - And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”

Houston vs Dallas, Toyota Center December 15, 2007

Last Saturday Wyatt's company hosted an event at the Houston Toyota Center. The Houston Rockets hosted the Dallas Mavericks for a great basketball game! WilCom, Jeff and Wyatt, entertained a handful of clients in a suite at the Toyota Center. What a fun time we had! Although the Rockets ended up losing, the memories we made were incredible. It isn't everyday we get to go be hosts in a huge suite at a game featuring the Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks! Jeff and Wyatt definitely set a great impression with potential and existing clients. They were ready to "schmooze" with logo'd mugs, pens, Rockets jerseys, T-shirts, bottomless fajitas with all the trimmings, salad, nachos, pizza and anything and everything to drink. It was a BLAST! Just another reason to be thankful for all God has done in our tiny little lives. To be 23/24 years old, newlyweds, and just starting out God has definitely shown us how mighty He is. We need for nothing, are in debt to no one and love each other more and more everyday. We are blessed with some of the greatest friends and family and owe all of this to our Savior...

We are in the right place!

Just a little bit of nothing...

Well, what an exciting time it is!! I absolutely LOVE this time of year and although Wyatt and I have spent Christmas together before, this is our first christmas as husband and wife! Our first time buying our own tree, our first time buying decorations, our first time setting everything up, decorating, lighting and adding all the trimmings!!! Our home even smells like Christmas! Lucky for us, Christmas starts early around Needville. Denise (Wyatt's mom) is one of 6 children so needless to say the Stavinoha Christmas has to be planned in advance and usually is the first Christmas activity in December. This year, we were blessed by our nephew's company! Kaden is two, nearly three, and is all boy! We spent our weekend at his teeball game, the donut shop, at the Sbrusch home petting Lucy, Brett's horse, feeding the cattle and playing with all the dogs. Kaden loves animals!! After all that, Wyatt and I are SURE that we will not have kids for a while. Although we love Kaden very much, and often keep him, we discover each time how spoiled we are to have just the two of us! Spoiled rotten and selfish with our time together as newlyweds! What can we say...we are just two young kids in love! We still enjoy time watching TV till late, cuddling together, planning spontanious day-trips to Huntsville with friends to see a concert, eating pizza for dinner while watching wheel of fortune and screaming out the answers, and being free to say whatever words we wish while not having to worry about the monkey in the back that likes to mimmick when 'uncle wyatt says bad word' :)

I cannot express how much God has blessed my family. To explain the satisfaction I get when I see Wyatt every morning would be like trying to explain gravity...it is just there. A pullling, constant force on my heart that seems to grow larger and larger the closer we grow to one another. I can only wish this kind of joy on everyone that reads this...it is our prayer that God, in His awesomeness, pours out His blessings as He has in our lives to each and every one of you!

We are headed to Belton this weekend to celebrate graduation for some friends but are quick to get back because WE ARE GOING TO THE ROCKETS vs MAVERICKS BASKETBALL GAME on Saturday! WilCom consulting, Wyatt's company, is 'shmoozing' some clients and I get to go as the "wife" of Houston's City Manager! I have never sat in a box at a Mavs game but can hardly wait! Dont worry...I will take some pictures for you all!

Until then, remember the Reason we celebrate this incredible time of year!
