25 random seen on facebook!

Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.

Blessed by my husband and best friend!

2. I absolutely LOVE pickles

3. I would rather a frozen pizza over a bought one, especially Red Barron, thin crust, supreme deluxe. Three boxes currently sit in my freezer.

4. I have extremely selective hearing, especially when it comes to Wyatt telling me NOT to spend money

5. I cannot wait to buy our first Home! How exciting! I get all flush just thinking about it! Although all the decisions will be extremely overwhelming.

6. Wyatt's and my entire life is written in my pocket planner...we are booked for the next 3 months, solid.

7. I hate being cold and would choose to sweat anyday! Maybe that is reason for all our trips to tropical places...coming up, MEXICO in July!!

8. Even though I just stated how much I HATE being cold I am excited about spending Christmas 09 in Ontario, Canada!...warm clothes are welcomed...

9. A fresh Pedicure is a must-have in my life.

10. I am a neat-freak...everything has its place and that 'place' is most likely organized as well. If you need help organizing, allow me!

I am who I am because of these people...

12. I cannot wait to start our little family, BUT am selfish with the time I have with my favorite husband!

13. I have a serious, much hated, sweet tooth.

14. Most of the time I would rather text than talk

15. I stay in touch through Facebook and Christmas Cards

16. I love blogging but don't do it enough to be good at it

17. Wyatt and I have a dog with urinary incontinence...she has a daily pill to stay dry ;)

19. I am bad about checking the mail and having my cell phone

20. I bite my nails and the inside of my cheeks...a lot, much to the dismay of my husband

21. Politics really aggravate me. Our current president is the source of most of the aggravation...I DO NOT support things like abortion or murder yet, my tax dollars go towards funding such and relocation of people that should be dead. Although, I will maintain complete respect.

Kaden and Karlie, my niece and nephew, can have whatever they want, whenever they want it...mostly because I can always give them back :)

23. I love sushi and could eat it at every meal

24. I live simple, thanks to Wyatt, and love life

Wyatt & Kyla...Celebrating marriage since July 21, 2007...and loving every minute! We live by a simple, yet powerful motto, "If you know True Love through Jesus Christ, then you know love for one another. Love each other and life comes easy".

Sarah turns 30!

Wyatt and I are involved with one of the best Real-Life groups I have ever been apart of, and growing up in the family I grew up in that says a lot. A few of the group members decided to get together for Sarah's 30th birthday...this is what happened...

Sarah and Jenna

We started our Friday night at Wild West, a country dance hall in Houston. Now, I know what all of you are thinking...Wild West, like the place we went to in High School? Yes, BUT we went at 5:30, when the place is full of late 20's all the way to 60's boot scootin' across the dance floor...2 dollars to get in and a free snack buffet! It was actually a perfect place to hang out, dance a little and chat with the ladies!

The boys entertained themselves at the pool you can see...and we only made them dance with us a few times! :)

Mitch and Shannon Blackmon...if you could see her belly I would say: Mitch and Shannon Blackmon and their 10 week old surprise!

Marshall and Jenna Millis

After we left Wild West, about the time when all the "less dressed" females arrived, we headed to PF Changs in Sugar Land for a fabulous dinner!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH, I hope you broke your boots in! And, cheers to having a great time with great friends! **We missed you Don and Marsha, Simon and Diane, Ray and Nicole**

A Wedding Shower for Sam and Clay!

January 17...not only my nephews birthday but also the day of a much awaited shower for our greatest buddies, Sam and Bub. We spent the first half of the day in Cypress at Kaden's 4th birthday and the second half in Needville at the shower...what a FUN DAY!! Sam and Clay have been blessed with MANY showers, I think this was the 100th. :)

The night started with a HUGE bonfire and some incredible BBQ. Gifts were exchanged, pictures taken, beverages consumed and memories made throughout the night until the wee hours of the morning. It was a weird night because it never felt "late" just fun. The guys started a dice game and the ladies continued to eat and laugh at the men throwing down 20's like it was nothing...I can say I am proud of my husband who did not participate in that crazy giving away of money! Wyatt and I have never felt more broke than now as we try to find land and a house...not to mention we are headed to see the famous Dave Ramsey on Saturday, 1-24-09, and are trying to spare ourselves the guilt of being 'young' with our money! :)

So, thanks again to Julie and Randy for offering their home to about 100 people for another shower...and thanks to Sam and Clay for having a wedding that gives all of us the excuse to get together for a great time! We love that!!

Hanging so proudly in the kitchen...the day was marked off!

me and my favorite 'boy'.

crazy ladies!

clay and myself...both sporting the denim jacket :)

Wyatt, John, Sam and me...

My camera came out about 2:30...needless to say I was not the best photographer of the evening. But...there are a few more pics if you CLICK HERE

I have to keep catching up on all my open/unpublished posts...I have been such a bad blogger!

Happy 4th Birthday, Kaden!!

Wyatt and I had an extremely crazy weekend...starting with our nephew Kaden's 4th birthday! I cannot believe my little nephew is FOUR! It is crazy how time flies...Jennifer planned a super fourth birthday in Cypress this year. Complete with a home-made pinada, Spider Man cupcake-cake, A LOT of fellow four year olds, a mini-jump and lots of balloons! It was CRAZY with all those kids there filled with tons of sugar!

Kaden, with his second cup cake...

They tore this thing up!

Opening presents...

Kaden with his four-wheeler! He LOVES this thing...thank you Santa ;)

All the birthday here.

Old Roomates Reunite! Meet Brian, Natalie and Brooklyn

Wyatt and I frequently reminisce on college days and the fun and easy life we had! This weekend we got the chance to catch up with Wyatt's roomate from UMHB...who now is a daddy! It is weird to look across the table and see a baby that belongs to one of 'us' wasn't too long ago when the house on Laurel Ridge in Belton, TX. was full of college kids and their dogs! We had such a great life in college and great friends. Brian and Natalie were loving enough to share in our wedding day as a bridesmaid and groomsman and we were honored to stand as the same in, here they are with the most precious little girl, what a gift it was to share the afternoon with great friends and God's greatest miracle...

Meet Brian, Natalie and little Miss Brooklyn!

Wyatt getting a little Brooklyn time!...notice the 'daddy' bib, ONE DAY!

Oh the memories we have...and now we add another girl! I LOVE GIRLS!

Natalie, in Cafe Adobe, with little miss sleeping.

He loves her!

How cute is her little bow!?!

Oh, I cannot wait!

We love you guys...cant wait till next time we meet!

2009...An 'exciting' new beginning!? Definately.

This year for New Years, Wyatt and I did the unthinkable...WE STAYED HOME! All alone, in our pajamas, we lounged with a glass of wine, or Jack in Wyatt's case, and enjoyed each others company. It isn't often that we get the opportunity to sit in the comfort of our little living room, alone, and laugh at the memories of past and plan for many more in the coming year.
The truth is Wyatt and I were so wiped out from the past week of traveling...
(thank you to everyone for your prayers and support during the death/funeral of my granddaddy)
...that we had absolutely NO energy or motivation to get out and do anything! We laughed at our "old and married" approach to the fabulous New Year! New Years Eve is usually one of my favorite times because I love getting all dressed up and hanging out with great friends...maybe that was the reason for our ever-so-relaxing night...I couldn't muster up the energy to find that perfect outfit, do my hair and makeup and make the drive to downtown!? Though, even without the fancy memories, Wyatt and I made the best kind of memories...we watched Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve, talked, kissed at midnight and went to sleep...what an evening! LOL!

2009, for Wyatt and I, is a year of high expectations. We have a lot we hope to accomplish and many trips planned together and with family and friends. But, the most important is to really focus our life together, our marriage, on the reality of Christ in our marriage.

It is our wish that everyone had a safe and happy holiday season! CHEERS to 2009!
