Welcome to the world Gracelee!!

We waited patiently in the hallway for this moment...Justin, a proud new dad, hugs his dad after breaking the "It's a girl" !

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Justin Sutherland and their DAUGHTER Gracelee!!

Today, I had the privilege of meeting the newest addition to the Sutherland family...
Meet Gracelee Sutherland!

new daddy! I cannot believe Justin is a dad! What a great daddy he will be!

One of my best freinds, literally since childhood, hugs her sister-in-law and cries tears of pure JOY for her new niece!

7 lbs. 11 ounces and born at 12:49, she is welcomed by Justin (dad) and Tiffany (mom)

Tiffany's step-dad holds the little bundle of joy!

Tiffany's mom, looking at her daughter and her new grand-daughter! Precious moments are so worth the tears!

Justin's mom holding her new grand-baby!

As a friend of the family I want to extend my love and prayers to this tiny miracle. What a blessing a new life is and how exciting it must be to hold such an angel!

Thank you Tiffany and Justin for letting me be apart of such a tender moment! I cannot wait to see her grow...

Along with the flowers and balloons, I want to give you one more small gift, lets pray...

Heavenly father,
Thank you so much for this perfect miracle. Thank you for keeping Tiffany healthy and safe and for giving her Justin for strength and security! You fill us with wonder as we watch this life grow from its very beginning. Father, encircle them always with your love and teach us that love!
All this we ask in Your Heavenly Name,

Congratulations again! Love and prayers!

another beautiful weekend!

Wyatt and I had another fantastic weekend...great weather, beautiful spring flowers planted, amazing times with friends and a fabulous Sunday at church!

Friday started a little late and Wyatt and I settled into a movie and popcorn...classic. I love those moments that make life worth all the hard times!

Saturday, Wyatt was a part of a scholarship skeet shoot tournament at our fabulous church with partner Don LaRoux, a fellow believer and husband to wonderful wife Marsha! We have gotten to know so many amazing couples through our couples bible study and this church! Growing up in church, I thought that I knew God's voice and His plan for my life...slowly but surely I am finding I was all wrong! HA! ...story of my life...I think I have figured it all out and pretty much within hours of the THOUGHT of perfection, God says,"Hold Please, this is my gig, not yours". Um, yes sir?! LOL...

If you look closely, there is powdered skeet in front of the cross over the lake!

My hubby...killin' it with his favorite gun ;)

what a stud...even with the ear plugs :)

Wyatt and Marshall discussing the strategy of skeet shooting

Don and Joey...also shooting in the event! FANTASTIC DAY!!

After the skeet shoot, Wyatt and I went home to work on the yard, the boat and to get the hot tub ready for GUESTS!! YEAH!!

self portrait!

Spring is in the air and bringing out all the blooms!

listening to the engine...?...whatever, just make sure we don't get stuck out on the water!

Another shot of the rose garden...Denise, Wyatt's mom, has such a green thumb!

Wyatt treats water systems at various buildings with Nalco as their Chemical Sales Engineer, here he treats our hot tub...he says,"work never stops"...

Later that evening we had a few couples over for dinner and fun! Since we were in the hot tub the camera stayed tucked away...probably since I broke our last camera in Jamaica bc I got it wet! :) lol...lessons learned.

Sunday...welcome to Creekside! We love this church and the excitement for what the future holds is hard to put into words. But, I can show you the new building...hopefully move-in is only 2 months away!

This is our pastor, Greg, looking over the 2nd floor balcony into what will be the lobby.

downstairs view out the back! pond and sports fields...

this will be the entrance...walking straight into the lobby...soon to be surrounded by two more buildings on either side...

aaahhh...what next...this week will be another busy one for Wyatt...OUR FURNITURE SHOULD ARRIVE...and Easter is almost here which means we will be traveling to Burnet! Hopefully, I will post before then but then again, life story: what you think isnt what He I guess we will just have to see what God has in store! HOW EXCITING!

a little thank you.

Thanks to everyone who has sent letters, emails, voice messages, text messages etc for the loss of our little Natalie. The family really appreciates it and the prayers are still encouraged as we still have a long and hard battle in front of us. Please continue to pray for God's strength, courage, patience and peace to be abundant and evident on a daily basis. We truly appreciate it.

In light of this situation, please take time our to kiss the ones you love and understand that each day you have with them is a gift! Count your blessings and keep them close to your heart...

Thanks again...

In loving memory...

Today, March 9, 2009, little Natalie went to be with Jesus. Although very sudden and cause unknown we still have to believe in a Higher power with a much better plan. Our family frequently referred to Natalie as an angel, I guess God was ready to give her real wings...

A visitor from Heaven
If only for a while
A gift of love to be returned
We think of you and smile

A visitor from Heaven
Accompanied by grace
Reminding of a better love
And of a better place

With aching hearts and empty arms
We send you with a name
It hurts so much to let you go
But we're so glad you came
We're so glad you came

A visitor from Heaven
If only for a day
We thank Him for the time He gave
And now it's time to say
We trust you to the Father's love
And to His tender care
Held in the everlasting arms
And we're so glad you're there
We're so glad you're there

With breaking hearts and open hands
We send you with a name
It hurts so much to let you go
But we're so glad you came
We're so glad you came

We love you Natalie and our family will never be the same...
