Oh Where, Oh Where has this little blog been? Oh Where, Oh Where could it be...

Okay, so it has only been ONE MONTH, give or take a few days, since my last post...that's not that long, right!?! Wrong. Ask a mom how long a month feels while she is raising her first born; or ask a bride how fast the last month of preparing goes by before her big day; ask a teacher how fast the months of summer fly!!!

Aahhh...anyways, things are BUSY to say the least. I am going to try my hardest to catch everyone up on all that is going on in our home.

**Take a breath, and here we go**

First day of my new project down, only 9 months to go! What new project, you ask? Oh, that's right, I haven't blogged in over a month! :/
About 3 months ago God started working in my heart about starting a new ministry at Creekside. I had been approached by our lead pastor and children's pastor a few times and asked to start a Mother's Day Out program...my first answer, "NO WAY!" well...God wins and long story short is I did it. I couldn't be more proud. Overcoming so many obstacles, our finished program is really great. I have a staff of 5 wonderful women and a team of about 8 amazing people with the church, we are all in this together...the past few months have been quite a struggle both emotionally and physically but, its over and I love life...again! :)

Infant play area...

18 months to 2 years...

3's and 4's...

more 3's and 4's...

...wonderful staff!

Moving on...

My oven has been "off" for about a month now. Not by choice, although I cannot complain that I actually have a legit excuse as to why I am not cooking! I smelled gas and turned it off. A week later I told Wyatt, and now we are here. I mean, who has time to fix an oven? Really? I just figure Wyatt and I are doing our part to stimulate the economy and eating out...right?! I'm not so sure Dave Ramsay would agree! :)
So, it only took a month but, some gas-worker-guys are coming out Wednesday to fix it. 30 days and $30 later...I have an oven again. Procrastinate much?

Next.

House hunting is absolutely NO FUN when you have to factor in the price of acreage! Looking at numbers, you would think house hunting would be easy and fun...not so much. When you have to factor in the cost of what acreage around Needville, TX is worth...big numbers seem to shrink! Ugh. I guess I have to be patient...we all know how GrEaT I am at that! :/ Prayers are welcome.

Creekside is celebrating 5 years!
So, the fabulous church that Wyatt and I call home is Creekside Christian Fellowship and the church is celebrating FIVE huge years this Sunday! It is so amazing to see God's hand working in this church. I have literally grown up in 'church' and I can honestly say, that this place has something really special. Being a part of this team has been one of my saving graces the past couple of months. When I was at my wits end with things involving Mother's Day Out, I could call on any one of my team members and by the next day the problem would be well on its way to being ressolved. The way this community of believers works together is definitely something to be proud of. God is at work in this place and He is not finished! There are over 500 people who call this church home...that's amazing and we are still growing! Amazing, God!

I will do my best to be a better blogger from now on! I am in a position that should allow me to gather my thoughts and be a little more 'myself' now. Sorry for the delay...but thanks for your patience and understanding! A special thanks to all my family and friends for your continued thoughts and prayers these last few months! Wyatt and I would not be the same without the support of our fantastic friends and family! We love you...

Until next time, and I promise, it wont be a month...
