Daddy Daycare

My boy...and our girl!

The week between Christmas and New Year is usually a week where everyone takes off. Well, when you work in a residential program, taking time off really just messes things up so, long-story-short, I dont take much time off. Truthfully, I cannot complain because my job is so flexible. I work three days a week, whatever times, whatever days. It doesnt get much better...but-back to the point...

The week between Christmas and New Years, Wyatt was off so, instead of having the nanny in, I decided to trust Wyatt a little more and leave my precious angel for some daddy daycare...

I came home each day to fond my baby girl so calm, so happy and so content...and still in her pajamas! :)
I was so nervous throughout the day; sending many, many texts of did she eat? did she poop? is she fussy? is she happy? how long between naps? dont forget her diaper! ...blah blah blah... Im not sure why I was so nervous! I mean, I dont send near that many texts with the nanny...but, Mandy is a woman ;) sorry guys but, its true.

Here is my angel...still alive after three whole days of Wyatt taking care of her. Three whole days of daddy love. I really believe those three days made Wyatt more comfortable in his abilities as the caregiver! I am so thankful to have such an amazing husband :)
I love you, Wyatt.

Merry Christmas...and Happy 2011!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! From our new family of THREE!!

We started 2010 with amazing news. Literally, it was January 2010 that Wyatt and I found out we were expecting! Needless to say, 2010 flew by so quickly!!

Between January and September, I gained 30 pounds... about a wrecked new years resolution!? LOL The 30 pounds were welcomed as I knew it meant I was getting closer and closer to giving birth to our precious baby girl! I also continued to work as the program nurse for a residential treatment facility in Needville. Working with the girls there has really opened my eyes to how precious my life is. How lucky I am to have come from such a loving family and how important it is that I am a constant support line and unending love well for Ainsley.

Between January and September, Wyatt continued to work for Nalco. He received a promotion and continues to do well in his work. It's a hard life when you take customers to lunch, golf, professional sports games etc...and get paid for it! In all seriousness, Wyatt works very hard to ensure our family is taken care of and he does a fantastic job. We are extremely thankful for the Nalco family and how they take care of ours.

So...what happened in September?! As if you didn't already know :)

September 25th, 2010 is a day that will forever be celebrated in out home! At 8:22am, Wyatt and I welcomed our first born, daughter. Ainsley Joy Sbrusch. To read all about her birth, click here!

From September until now, our Home has been even more full of 'Joy!' It is our prayer that this Christmas, you find what gives you Joy, Peace and Love!
Remember, Jesus is the reason for the Season

Merry Christmas from our Home to yours!! ...and Happy 2011!
